Routine dental cleanings are the first step in the prevention of gum disease and the basis for good overall oral health. Our Dental Hygienist will give you a thorough yet gentle teeth cleaning. You’ll be advised on proper flossing and brushing to maintain your oral health between visits. Dr. Nieto will put you on a schedule for exams and cleanings suitable to your personal dental situation.

I’m giving one star because this office is very disorganized. I waited a month for insurance authorization, only for it to be rejected because the X-rays were not taken properly. After that, they rescheduled my appointment. Then, when I finally came in for the new appointment, they told me they were too packed and wanted to reschedule me again.
Overall, this was a very frustrating experience and a waste of time.

My experience was horrible , I don’t understand how this place is open , I wasn’t paying and nobody cares negligence very competent horrible job,

I do not recommended this business period , when staff have to lie on your paperwork thats a red flag, I gave one star because of one receptionist that was pleasant , for my first appointment I am thankful for the camera in the waiting room because unless they deleted it they clearly lied and said I didnt show up for an appointment when I was clearly their at the front counter lol they canceled my appointment because they said they needed a part to their machine , but didnt have the courtesy to call, text, or email me before my appointment but was somehow able to text me that morning reminding me I had an appointment , and when I asked the receptionist who said she was new why they put I didnt show up on my paperwork ( I asked for my records which was full of discrepancies) she said that was the only way to close out the computer SMH, on another occasion I was waiting to be seen and after waiting well over my appointment time was informed they needed to reschedule, which isnt a problem things happen but it wasnt the first time my appointment was canceled, and what dentist tells you she wants to fill some cavities after your exam and x ray but doesnt say which ones or even how many, but wants you to schedule an appointment, I was told do not let this dentist touch your mouth for anything! another red flag. If you do choose to go to Charming Smiles Dentistry of La Quinta you just might not come out smiling.

They are under staffed and seem to double book. They left me in the chair while I waited for the dentist to finish cleaning someone else's teeth in the middle of her doing mine. All that was left was a deep clean and I had to wait there. When she came back the numbing was going away and she tried to inject me again. Apart from that I have been trying to contact someone in their office regarding a claim they never submitted to my insurance. I believe they didn't submit it because they made me pay out of pocket that day even though they had previously told me the insurance would cover everything. My insurance cannot help with the claim until they submit it on their end which the receptionist admitted to not knowing how and referred me to another number that did not answer. I believe they scammed me. I called and canceled all of my future appointments until this issue is resolved. But even after, I do not think I will be going back.

Still waiting to see if I receive refund for $850 payment I made. I will change this review if so. For now, was quoted agreed price for a procedure, 2 teeth at $850. But after they had me pay, sent me an e-sign showing total cost at more than $2,900. Also, I was not informed in advance regarding potential higher fee for extraction service. Had I been informed in advance, I would not have been taken by surprise. This all gave me pause. So I never had the procedure. Ms. Nieto said she credited me back but CC Co. says she did not. I would think a person/dental practice in a position of public trust would be more straightforward and ethical. Hoping I am credited back before having to file with Board and the courts--an unnecessary mess. I sense Ms. Nieto may ve struggling with the demands of a practice.

This is the worst office (medical or dental) I have ever set foot in! For starters the dentist herself is rude to her staff and has poor bedside manner. As far as scheduling appointments goes don't count on keeping the ones you make I've been called 3 times to reschedule. Finally got the chance to be seen had an 8:30 appointment and here I am 30 minutes later being asked if I can reschedule yet again as I'm sitting in the office. Completely unprofessional. Completely inconsiderate of me and my time. When I explained this to the dentist she replied by saying I need to have a more flexible schedule. To me this is laughable that I need to be more flexible to her canceling my appointments continuously. Needless to say I will not be back and I hope this review helps others to choose a different office for dental care.

Extremely satisfied with every part of the process I experienced at this practice! Dr and staff are amazing. My son had a tooth pulled and they made him feel so comfortable and not afraid of a dentist visit! 100% recommend for any age!

I made an appointment for my 90 yr old grandmother to get her dentures looked at (I'm a dental assistant but don't live in that area). The office wanted to take a full panoramic x-ray (she has no teeth) and charge $134 just for the exam before they would even provide an estimate for adjusting her dentures. I was very clear when I made the appointment that she would just require an adjustment to her dentures, if they plan to charge such a high new patient exam even for people without teeth, that should be noted when making the appointment. As someone that is in the industry, I find this appalling

These professionals are the absolute best, they were super sweet and extremely patient with me. I haven’t been to the dentist is over 8 years and they never once made me feel judged. They were understanding and ready to put me back on track with my oral care. Looking forward to my next visit!

Dr. Nieto, DDS, and her team at Charming Smiles of LA Quinta were very reasonable and helpful during my dental visits. Their team had terrific bedside manners. Not only that, but they also ensured there was not too much pain throughout the procedures. I would recommend this dentist to anyone in the future.

Nice experience! I have a bad toothache due to a root canal I had 10 years ago at a different dentist office. It got reinfected again and I was given treatment while I get it done.
I was a new patient and I was able to be seen the same day I called. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great experience and service in such short notice.
